Not sure about the law there, but in my country nothing is stolen until they leave the shop without paying..The first time I ever stole from a shop I was maybe 10 year's old it was fifty year's ago it happened . A packet of sweets i was caught steeling . The lady closed the shop door and beat the crap out of me. A bit over the top but l deserved it. 😢😩
