  1. For decades, the Texas State Legislature has been, and remains, guilty of criminal neglect when it comes to preserving this ship. She has been improperly maintained. Her current mooring is not suitable. There is doubt that she will be able to make it to a new mooring, without sinking. Shame on Texas for neglecting our country's heritage.
