  1. Pay attention to the flesh "between the toes". I had a bulldog develop "inter digital cysts". It was painful. She licked it almost raw. My vet (who owned/bred bulldogs) gave me an eyedropper-bottle of a "5% solution of DMSO". 24 hours later the licking stopped and never returned. Use gloves to apply DMSO. If you get it on your skin, a taste of garlic develops in your mouth. When the dog climbs onto the bed at night it is like sleeping with a pizza. I'm not a vet. This isn't advice. It's my life. You do you. PS: When you apply the DMSO by laying the eyedropper onto the painful spot....you get bit. THAT is advice! PSS: This wasn't a chronic problem. It was the only time the dog had inter-digital problems of any type (aside from normal wear-and-tear on the feet).

  2.  Brian Jones  A swollen growth. Yes...pimple-like. Perhaps a bit larger. I don't recall limping...she 'licked' at it. I've seen other commercially available solutions to this problem. I don't know how well they work. I know that DMSO (5% solution) worked overnight. Please share how you treated your dog.
