  1. About using that blanket to play rough with him. I got my first bulldog pup in the spring. I gave her an old comforter to lay on. I'd wrap my arm in it, or get under it and she'd would immediately attack. She was always 'gentle mode', anytime that we would play-rough. But as soon as I touched that comforter, she'd go right into 'very rough mode'. (I'm sure you know what that means) When winter rolled around, I put MY comforter on my bed. That first night, I crawled under it....and she ATTACKED. Every night, for that first week, it was the same. Every year, on the first night of winter, it was the same.
