  1. I read the books in the early 60s. They stayed with me ever since. I don't care how much the movie bombed. I don't care how much Disney lost. That movie was made for me. And I enjoy it. Book 2 of the series. John instigates an uprising of the slaves. ERB writes: "Every slave reached for the nearest object. To use as a weapon. To kill the masters. Those who could not find a weapon.....they used their teeth." DAMN!
