@bidmcms3 Sweden has some of the highest cases in the world and the mortality rate is 4% , not at all good for a country that boosts of the most fabulous health care system and standard of living . Just because Sweden did not have a lock down does not make it great , uniquely intelligent, daring and courageous. In fact I would call that uselessly over smart move , self deluded into thinking that they are the most moral and compassionate , narcissism and exhibionist. Science does not care for your moral standards. If a lock down is warranted , it has to be done . Sweden is among top 20 countries worst affected and top 10 going by cases per capita ...

@bidmcms3 The real role models are Australia , New Zealand , India. All of them doing very well because of early imposition of lock down . Don't speak of herd immunity because 90% western white people do not have any clue of science except Australia and New Zealand.

@bidmcms3 What is herd immunity ? I am a physician. And as I said , western people have no idea of science most of the times . They just superficially learn science and understand it by Bible. That is not done. Just because Sweden did not impose lock down does not mean that they have achieved herd immunity. It's a different concept altogether. It takes time , exposure to the pathogen must occur for many years , in specific concentration , to achieve herd immunity. Plus there are many other factors. The possibility of a novel virus inducing herd immunity at a time when it's just active in the world affecting all countries is laughable if you understand science. And no. Sweden is 27 by crude statistics. By per capita basis it falls much lower.

@bidmcms3 The brillant western people you are referring to are just the top 1% of the pyramid. They do not represent the entire picture. More than 90% western white people have no scientific attitude and temparament except NZ and Australia , they are all into their biblical fantasies. In Asia and India where I live , we keep religion and science separate. Indians are the most religious people but they keep science and religion separate and don't bring in science into religion and vice versa.
