Sri Lanka is not suffering because of American sanctions but because of submission of resources and capital to the Chinese. American sanctions don't do a damn. Russian currency is at its highest. US is not a power any more in this multilateral global world order. It is itself suffering from innumerable economic and social problems.

@shreenidhem8896 India has not been sanctioned. Please stop reading Chinese sources. That is the reason your nation is suffering. Petrol and Diesel prices are rising due to Ukraine war , middle eastern crisis , Opec countries decisions etc. In fact US sanctioned India only once in 1998 and it was the year that saw maximum economic growth and US had to retract them within 2 months. India is a strong country with patriotic population. Nothing can affect us Our leadership is not letting people suffer even under inflation due to global causes. We don't care about petrol prices.
