Correction US has always been failing. They failed even in WW2 , most work was done by USSR. It failed in Cuba , Afghanistan , Vietnam , Iran etc. It failed to deal with the Chinese. It failed to stop Pokhran atomic blast by India. It could not sanction India for too long. And innumerable such events. It was always a paper tiger. It was our ignorance and foolishness that we kept on thinking it was great. But now the bubble has busted.

@oliveeasther9654 It's better to not do anything in Afghanistan than to face a humiliating defeat in the world's eyes there. Thinking that we are tte best and so we can do wherever we want only backfires badly. And if you have spent trillion dollars and 20 years , you could have continuined doing that till such tine that withdrawal was not a world mess. Get knowledgeable about the geography , culture , local power structures , take allies into confrence , negotiate local deals and than state an exit. If you did not do anything in 20 years and exitted , it only creates chaos and brings shame.

@idk-cj2qy Having huge weapons is of no use of you don't know how to do it. If you don't know when to use them , and what to do. If you don't know anything the world and the regional dynamics, simply having weapons doesn't help. This is not 1945 Japan world , today 7 other countries have nukes.

@qwertykey4027 Yes. US did nothing in WW2. It was the USSR and 2 lekh Indian soldiers that were forced into the war that won WW2 . And even if you say you won , you lost everything after WW2 including every war and intervention so it doesn't matter if US won WW2 or not. Anyways US is founded on native blood and racism and slavery.

Bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki does not show valour or intelligence. Not being a global laughing stock and a fool with its middle East mess , Vietnam , Afghanistan , Cuba etc shows it.

@idk-cj2qy GDP is a figure that can be obtained anyhow. It's not necessary that it's a productive figure. You can have low gdp and meaningful standards of living and being intelligent in leading the world. Instead of becoming obese , driving cars throughout the day and eating KFC junk food the whole day. It's better to have low gdp than to have huge gdp and becoming laughing stock of the world.
