The internet was the only communication tool that was basically controlled by children from the moment of its conception. So the ideas it spread used to be quite childish. As the first internet generation gets older, the whole mood of the culture will change. Just look at the jordan Peterson phenomenon, for example. The Internet lacked the moderating wisdom of the older generations, that will change.
