Some government agency provided grant money to put him in business and get him started. When that money goes away…so will the Grocery Outlet. Food stores typically operate on a 1% profit margin when they are run well. Lots of things can pull that margin down to make it unprofitable.

@John Zeppelin…That’s NOT RIGHT to say. It’s inflammatory. All parties involved deserve a chance…it’s on them. Democrat politicians and their policies have put those areas where they are now.
