Well i'm a mountain hillbilly and i have heard and felt and seen some odd things in Pennington Gap Virginia, my home i love. Thanx Donnie . i live just a spit away on the Tennessee and Kentucky state line. Kentucky has some graveyards to this day i won't go into.😮😮😮 good- nite

  20. When I was little it was just me and my mom and summer and some Christmas's it was back and forth from Florida to my mamma's in Lee county , Pennington Gap. I was so happy to leave Florida and I cried we we left my Mamma's. Well finally the last 20 years I am back in my mountains and have never and never will cross that nasty Florida again. Boy did we travel 25 and 58 ....Orby Cantrell hiway Pound Wise Norton My daughter was born in Big Stone Gap and going to Middlesboro when I was little was like going to Disney for me only better😅😅😅

  24. There was an old grist mill not far from Pennington gap my home. I can remember my mamma doing her garden till she was 96 and she canned we snapped beans 🫘 there was always soup beans cornbread and beans and sliced tomatoes cucumbers and 🌰 onions...yum yum. Thanx for the memories❤😊

  31. I thank God of who I am where I come from. An Appalachian mountain loving love my grandparents farmers coal miners and sit on the porch on a swing and the stories and the love. Yep I'm a proud hillbilly girl, Scottish Cherokee and worked like a dog all my life to make a honest living and raise my family and husband bless his heart but he could do like you say.   32. So nice as always. We are not in a drought anymore. We have coyote s in the woods behind where I live. They're killing the little rabbits and anything else they catch. 😪😡😓😡😓 gotta do something. If they get someone's pet....all of us will be in the woods with a gun. Is it against the law to kill coyotes in Tennessee? Anyway, great video Mr. Donnie. Brave the storms (again) tomorrow.   36. Unless you are part of these mountains and being Appalachian/Cherokee...these stories are all so real to me. I used to sit on my grandpa pops porch in the swing at night and just wait to see and hear things unexplainable...I was just so waiting for things to start and they would. I loved seeing lights on and off in the mountains aways off. I miss it all so much.😢. 😪. Sometimes I'd go down to the town cemetary. Always something going on there😮. Great video Mr Donnie.
