  1. I saw that video, I believe it may have been Ziebart, which is well known for not doing what is claimed to do, keep out the moisture due to cracking and letting moisture get behind the coating and trapping it there.

  2. Generally speaking rotors are not side specific as far as brakes are concern. For wheel hubs and some brake calipers, yes.

  3. Obviously, you didn't listen close enough as Ray said this came from upstate NY. Everywhere in that state, salt is used in many areas, year 'round as in the summers in the more rural areas, they use it to keep the dust from the dirt roads down.
