The pump is bolted to those perches, so likely meant to be that way.

@FollowingtheCliffNotes The problem is, he never puts the e on the end of mat, and never capitalizes it either.

If you can as those that live in the NE and parts of Canada have to deal with rust, thus anything over 15 years old is too rusted out to continue driving as often it's the frame on many trucks that are rather weight reduced by now.

@ Yep, know Eric from SMA, though I live too far to partake in his business, but DO watch him on the regular when he uploads (subscribed for a long while) so see him sometimes struggle with the more rusted units that go through his shop. BTW, live on the west coast of the US where 20-30 YO, or more cars are still quite commonly found on the roads here. I drive one thats just over 20 years old and over 200K miles.

If you are asking due to the early uploads, likely he has it set to drop automatically as that is a feature for east coast time at something like 5AM so it's uploading while he's either asleep still or getting ready for work.

@victorbaird8220 One is broken and I believe he is waiting for the new one to be installed. About 6 months or more ago, the cable on the old lift he'd bought used broke and is I think getting a 4 post for wheel alignments.

Love those old Rangers, had the 4.0, 5Spd 2WD top trim version of one, a 1992 flavor. Great truck, but not perfect. One issue is the slave cylinder is inside the bell housing. To replace, you gotta split the tranny and then get to the slave to replace, rather than be on the outside. Not one of Ferd's better ideas. Still though, loved it for what it was, and it gave me largely good faithful service for 7 years between 2006-2012.
