A lot of it comes down to trying to be politically correct and often failing at it, also trying to be bleeding heart liberals and failing at it too. I do not take any of that BS myself, nor conspiracy theories. I'm also not normally brained so see things differently than the norm. BTW, I'm of similar age (60) so understand many of the older ways.

@ In some ways, I am the same way, though I live and grew up out on the west coast (western Washington) where at times we lean too liberal for our own good, so see things from that perspective and what we have now is a glut of the homeless as a result, California, Oregon and Washington are glutted with them at the moment, and agree, a lot of it stems from social media. I see normal folks being too readily accepting of things at face value without critical thinking of the whys, the where's and the hows.
