  1.  @mervynhogan7829  They are not talking about the pads, the FLUID, the hydraulic fluid that then operates the pistons that push on the pads. The interval for the pads will vary by how much braking you do, how hard you brake etc, and if you commute in heavy commuter traffic that is full of stop and go traffic (I was at one point and it did a number on my front pads).
