@LovingAtlanta Do research it. I believe there is a video about it on YT and countless other sources online and in print. Just so you know, the Columbus day storm hit mid Oregon up to Vancouver BC causing significant damage along the way. There were several other major wind storms, including one in 1981 if memory serves and it knocked down the TV tower at Bates Tech college in downtown Tacoma, taking them off the air until they could replace the tower and moving both the tower and transmitter to north Shirley in Tacoma's North End. Not as powerful as the Columbus day storm, but a major storm nonetheless. This year, we may be due one or two major wind storms as we are expected to be in a neutral year, not el nino, nor la nina.

@MrWiseinheart Not true, they are out in the woods too. There are organizations that clean up the woods, IE, the public lands we visit, camp in and many a homeless and their ratty RV's are trashing the areas and as soon as they get cleaned up, they are back, trashing the place again. There are areas of the US where many of the public lands are closed off now because of this. Many an RV are likely stolen ones and a lot of cars are stolen and then stripped for parts and those get sold off too. So the police go and tag the vehicles after the homeless folks are rounded up and crews go and remove the vehicles to a holding area so they can be processed, then scrapped as most are not suitable for recovery, and all that AFTER they attempt to notify the last owners first.
