  1. Roe v Wade will absolutely turn US politics over. It will help bolster turnout in November for Democrats and is a far better organizing basis for unity than a lost war in Ukraine. That does mean the media will pay even less attention and so Biden can get away with major shifts in policy. It also strains relations with Poland which has repressive abortion laws, which EU is pressuring them to abandon. European right wingers will now use the Roe v Wade situation to press for EU to abandon the "abortion as a right" position. This will in turn boost the hard left in all countries as the youth overwhelmingly reject Catholic ideology, even among Catholics, on this point. The future looks more like Ireland.
