  1. It's like everyone forgot the basics of statecraft. Ukraine did not keep to the Black Sea Fleet Partition Treaty which prevented any struggle over nukes or navies in the 1990s. Then it helped NATO breach it's promise not to expand east. Then it breached Kharkiv Pact re Sevastopol. There were several coups one way or another, breaching Budapest & certainly breaching any ethnic Russians ' or Romanians or Hungarians or Tatars expectations of how the state would run education. Then during the civil war, Minsk I, Ii ignored and a last ditch effort by Scholz. At what point does a state that simply won't keep to a treaty have to be simply dissolved? Obviously Germany & Japan didn't like unconditional surrender either, nor did Cuba like being told to send USSR missiles back. However these treaties, with uncomfortable clauses like Guantanamo Bay staying American, were all kept. Now the FM contradicts the President to say there can never be any deal. Huh. Is this a country or a gang of provocateurs?

  4. Just gonna point out that Ukraine says it doesn't follow Geneva Convention. Which means NATO is literally using a military with the ethics of Imperial Japan, that is, worse than Nazis, as it's frontline troops. Oh but that's ok. I'm sure the navies and air forces will follow the Geneva Convention. Just not the frontline army.
