  13. The reservists are more like a million but they mostly go to bases to relieve hard core professional soldiers that do nothing but train full time. Those soldiers go to the former Ukraine first, many already there as the bases can be short staffed a while. Russia didn't bother correcting this error by the West coverage, because they got a lot more tougher troops there much faster than if they had been training up reservists to go directly.
