  1. The problem is that there is no single set of rules for autonomy or self-determination or secession even for Eastern Europe. NATO backs Kosovo to literally join EU before it's legally recognized as a country by EU countries. But it claims Crimea can't even assert it's historical constitutional autonomy of 1991-2014 and must abide by a coup-stitution it had no part in making... The world sees this contradiction and 90% of it rejects that NATO decides this itself.

  2.  @thisguy2372  I agree but that comes with conditions including not targeting Serbs in Kosovo population and not necessarily taking all parts of the region with them.
