  1. I just did some calculations. If you win 120 Mio € at Euro Jackpot lottery, then this is around 130 Mio Dollar at the moment. If you then buy the boat new for 14 million and have to pay $3 million for it every year, then you can finance it for (130 Mio Dollar - 14 Mio Dollar)/3 Mio Dollar = 38.66 years. The reason why I didn't calculate with 1.8 million dollars per year, but rather 3 million dollars per year is a rough approximation to take inflation into account. And of course you could wisely invest a large part of the money beforehand and then use the income to cover the running costs or at least delay the useful years a little further. After 38 years at sea, the ship will probably no longer be particularly fit anyway.
