@andrasgyulakopf3314 If Russia attacks the West and loses the war, Russia will have to pay in land. In this case, Poland and Germany can find a solution. Poland can get its lands to the east back from Russia, and this will allow Poland to move a bit east to free up land for Germany. In the end, neither Poland nor Germany will lose land and everyone should be happy with that. I also assume that all buildings will be destroyed after the war, so the infrastructure will have to be rebuilt anyway. For individuals who want to stay where they are, we're sure to find a solution. We are the EU, so individual EU citizens can live wherever they want.

@andrasgyulakopf3314 Chemical and biological weapons were invented in World War 1, but they were mostly not used in World War 2. At least not in Europe. Thus you can assume, that a third war will start with conventional weapons.

@steelisthemeal China will fight on the side of Russia in the coming war. That is a problem, but we might hope that they will switch side during the war.
