  1. The end user in the West will mostly stick with the x86 PC for desktop computers. This is especially true for gaming PCs. This is simply because of the large amount of software written for the x86. People already have enough trouble switching from Windows to Linux within the same ISA because of this backwards compatibility, a completely different ISA makes it even more difficult. I see the future of RISC-V in other areas and the same applies to the ARM ISA.
