If you live in Europe, you will have 2 minutes to get to the center. The probability that you won't get to the center in time and will therefore receive third degree burns and suffer a painful death for 4 weeks is much higher. If you had just gone to your basement, you would have had a good chance to survive.

Why would you do that? I don't see the point. You're not doing it now either. Summary: This is therefore an unrealistic scenario.

There's a mistake in your thinking. They don't fly anywhere, they just go down the stairs in their bunker under their villa. That takes less than 2 minutes. The bunkers in other places are for asteroid impacts, where you have some advance warning and can roughly estimate where they will hit and where you have to fly to be as safe as possible. The bunkers in remote locations are well suited for this. And there is a very simple way to keep the guards under control. You just have to give them protection for them and their family in the bunker, then they will do everything to defend the bunker. This is for the completely unrealistic scenarios that survivors from outside want to do something to them.

@uss-dh7909 [x] You are one of those who have not understood the law of decay. Keep in mind, new things grow on ashes.

You have misunderstood something. You don't need to sleep in a bunker, when you were exposed to radiation in the first 12 hours. The bunker will then no longer save you.

That's nonsense. The Walking Dead TV series in particular deliberately tries to create unrealistic conflict scenarios to keep the audience entertained. But in reality, no one would behave like that. In reality, people would work together because everyone knows that they can only survive in a group. Competing groups make no sense in a world where there are hardly any people left and everything is available in abundance for a few.

@jordanwhite352 In a nuclear scenario, most people who were unprotected will die in the first 3-4 weeks, if they didn't already die when the bombs fell. They also won't be able to do anything because they'll have third degree burns and radiation sickness. Most will be glad when people come out of their bunkers after 2-3 weeks to help ease the pain. The people left after that will be so few that there will be more than enough resources and they will need each other. All of the scenarios in movies, TV series and games are for entertainment, but in the end they are simply unrealistic.
