  1. You played the wrong games. You need to select games where you have find your own quests. X4: Foundations from Egosoft seems to be a good example. Another one is 7 days to die or even Minecraft. These games generally don't tell you what to do, but instead provide you with a large sandbox in which to let off steam and figure out what goals you want to set.
