  1. To me, De Santis is like Trump but with a bit more political polish. Trump's policies weren't half bad but his personal style was very combative and sometimes alienating but De Santis has Trump's fight and a great way of communicating with people without necessarily being as polarising as Trump. Trump I think was a necessary fight back by the 'deplorables' and showed up the leftist establishment for what it really is, he's paved the way for a braver right wing who have up to now been cowed into submission by the left but really need to stand up for America, the Constitution and positive American values

  3.  @grjones520  Yes but look at what happened, 4 years of a constant barrage of media negativity and Trump and his supporters demonised at all levels. It may have red pilled many but it also polarised the country to a point where I don't know if it is reconcilable. A heavy price
