  3. I honestly think people are just jealous that the English are such historical badassess. The Scots particularly hate it because they tried to have their own glorious Empire - and failed so badly they had to join the UK and become part of ours. And damn good at it they were too, Scots regiments, thinkers, inventors are legendary. All respect from a softie southerner with Norman ancestry. 👍
