  1.  @northernlights8126 The myth that immigrants built Britain or came here out of the kindness of their hearts for us makes me FURIOUS. 1. The Windrush generation numbers were TINY compared to the wider population, the idea that they ‘built Britain’ is nonsense 2. They come here for THEMSELVES not us. They came, benefitted from our country and did very well thanks. They didn’t have to come.

  3.  @DieFlabbergast We were explicitly told when I was young NOT to have babies as it was ‘destroying the planet’ and made you ‘a slave of the patriarchy’ - ironically by the same class of people who are now telling us because we did what they said that we just have to import tens of millions of foreigners not all of whom share our values or respect our country or culture. You couldn’t make it up.

  4.  @northernlights8126  Yeah I don’t know where this myth comes from, probably from slavery - but even then that made a few wealthy people wealthier, what raised living standards in Britain was technology, medicine and education - all invented by us AND exported to our colonies who benefitted from it. 🤷‍♀️

  6. Same here. I think there should be zero tolerance for things like FGM, sharia, blasphemy laws etc etc I don’t even agree with halal/kosher slaughter. If the vets say it’s not right then why on earth should there be exceptions to satisfy Bronze Age superstitions from other countries??? The idea that Pakistanis who abuse and gang rape young British girls use human rights laws to stay in this country is a travesty. I don’t want them here and if a ‘family life’ is their legal defence then send the family back with them! It makes me so so angry.
