  7.  @mick8473 I often think African Americans should be thanking their slave ancestors - because of their sacrifice the generations after were lucky enough to brought up in America not somewhere like Congo or Rwanda or Somalia

  9. Yes you are correct, however a. Calvin is half white b. I think we should always embrace those from elsewhere who also love this country like we do in our blood and guts. I’d rather have Calvin than, say, Emily Thornberry. He is British in every sense of the word that matters

  11. What even is ‘whiteness’ ffs? Your skin pigment has nothing to do with your beliefs or values or culture. If whiteness prescribes certain behaviours, as if genetically pre-determined, then surely ‘blackness’ does too.
