  1. If St George is a patron saint in multiple countries does that mean Portugal can’t fly their flag ? Is she unaware that patron saints are symbols not real people (St George and the Dragon?) and symbolic of the spread of Christianity across Europe? It doesn’t matter where he was or wasn’t born! St Patrick wasn’t Irish and St Andrew wasn’t Scottish. So what? And a nation is never going to put a a foreign nation’s interests first!
