Great looking truck, too bad about that craptastic 8-speed automatic. Chevy cheaped out. They could have put the ten speed in it but no. Stay away. There are class action lawsuits against it and shakes and shudders bad when stopping after hard acceleration.

@naveenthemachine I guess in your universe people are willing to buy more junk. Here on planet Earth, people buy things that last when costs are roughly the same. Actually the junky GMs can be had for less than Tacos.

@elche1976 You must be young and easily influenced. Of-course GM says that they have redesigned it. All they done is reprogram a pig. A PIG of a transmission that I know about. If you complain long enough to your GM dealer, they will finally replace transmission fluid with Mobil 1 synthetic transmission fluid. It fixes it temporarily and then same shudders. But yeah go ahead, and buy this junky transmission.

@elche1976 Sounds like you like to haggle and beg for your Chevy dealer to fix your junky Chevy. Rest of us prefer to just have reliability. But hey whatever, you will learn as you get older
