  6. For me this and Ridgeline are best Honda products today. I still prefer Ridgeline because of its six speed, but this Passport is great.

  7. You should test a Laredo or Altitude with regular suspension on regular roads/highways and then tell us how quiet it is and how the ride compares to last generation. Consumer Reports calls the Grand Cherokee L flimsier ride than last generation.

  9. Really really superb vehicle. The want is strong with this one. Chevy can even make a two row a bit shorter to compete with Grand Cherokee and it will sell great. Superb platform and interior.

  13. An ox cart is also reliable. This thing has a horrible ride, no aluminum, no Apple car play or Android Auto in 2019 seriously, and very limited body size and engine choice.

  24. Lol a V8 Grad Cherokee is more expensive than a Tahoe. Get the Tahoe, it is body on frame and comes base with a V8. Too bad, Grand Cherokee used to be a great deal. Not so now.

  30. I rather get a Honda Pilot. Naturally aspirated V6 as opposed to junky 2.3 liter turbo with only Direct Injection. Pass.

  32. Be careful about issues. They will start happening with this generation of Grand Cherokee and Durango past 30,000 miles. My recommendation get a extended MOPAR warranty, it will pay for itself. My issues, 2015 Grand Cherokee: 2 thermostats. CEL. Steering Rack leaking, had to be replaced (1500 if not covered by MOPAR extended warranty). Transmission intercooler (radiator) leaked and had to be replaced (another 1500 if not covered by MOPAR extended warranty) oil pan leaking and fixed (1200 if not covered by MOPAR extended warranty) oil pump leaking - CEL(1200 if not covered by MOPAR extended warranty) PSIMS (emissions module) replaced. Two windows regulators. Rear shocks replaced. I have that Jeep still and it has 110,000 miles now. It has good ride and isolation, and everything logically laid out. The 3.6 liter Pentastar is solid. But be careful of issues with this vehicle without a MOPAR extended warrarnty. And, quality of work varies greatly based on Jeep dealer you go to. My recommednation, stay away, get a Highlander or Pilot

  42. Diesel turbos run much cooler. Very different engine. Gas turbos ALL generate too much heat and there is no solution for that. Tundra turbo and Ford ecoboosts are problematic.
