  3. The way that adjustable arm rest has to be played with so many times before it stays in the right position shows difference to details between Koreans and Japanese. I stay away from Korean vehicles, they are all about gimmicks and constant exterior design changes. No meat.

  7. No this is front wheel drive based, Touareg is rear wheel drive. VW could not sell Touareg’s in USA, too small and too expensive, so this was the Americanized VW SUV.

  15.  @tomh507  Nissan engine is direct injected. After couple years it will have carbon buildup while Toyota invests in port and direct injected engine. The Toyota V6 is not slow. If you don't trust me try getting a used Tacoma and see what the resale value is (two year old Tacos are more expensive than new). Try the same exercise with Frontier. Nuff said.

  40. A lot of high tech features, are mandated, such as rear view camera. Infotainment is now all in LCDs which means lots of software development. People want compatibility with cell phones amend ability to get navigation projection or natively. Then there is blind side monitoring, front and rear pedestrian alerts and Nannie’s, and rear sonar. You are not going back to your dad’s era tech.

  41. These vehicles may be reliable but are beyond old. The 4-Runner is dangerous around town with soft suspension that nose dives dangerously when braking and mushy brakes. Stay away
