  10. I take the GMC Yukon Denali with 6.2 liter V8 and laugh at your disposable turbo six cylinder. V8 for life or nothing.

  11. This thing’s driving dynamics makes an ox-cart proud. You brake hard and have extreme nose dive after no initial bit. Fuel economy is a joke. Slow as molasses. And no creature comforts. Otherwise if you only intend to go rock climbing it is perfect, just don’t think of it as a daily driver.

  13. Your wife is right about the Kia factor being a negative. HONDA ENGINE IS FAR SUPERIOR AND IT IS A BETTER BRAND. SAME FOR TOYOTA. You still have to deal with pimple face owners of Soul and a Forte and rental Optimas at Kia service bay. Pass.

  16. Good looking vehicle. May not be as tough as a Tacoma but does 90% of what most people use a truck for. Plus it rides better and engine is better than in anything else in the segment.

  17. Dude this is a sports car. Not a SUV. Same buyer profile as a Corvette. There are plenty of older men that buy Corvettes. Those are also low to the ground but many more f those older men can get in and out of those and can out of these too. That said, I get a V8, the hybrid doesn’t do much for me.

  19. If you want a Toyota like Corolla, get a RAV-4 hybrid. I prefer regular RAV-4 because it has a regular 8 speed automatic. The Corolla is a car fit for college kid or recent grad or as a Uber car, thing else. They are good but too small

  22. Good looking truck, but there is no way I buy a turbo four instead of a naturally aspirated V6. Tacoma is where ,y money goes, can’t believe Ford is not giving another V6 option to us.

  23. Get a RAV-4 and laugh at this poorer designed and engineered offering while saving much money. This Lexus is a copy of that miserable CH-R. Just pass and get more reliable better designed RAV-4.

  24. I think recommendation should come with qualifications. If you need towing go for Expedition or GM Tahoe suburban and sister models. If your preference is simply to go fast and luxuriate in silly comfort features go for Germans like Mercedes GLS and new X7. If you prefer rock solid reliability and greliable anywhere capability, Toyota and Lexus large entries are safest but cost a lot.

  25. This right here is why SUVs sell. For same money I can get a Grand Cherokee with so much more room and full 4x4. Plus a Grand Cherokee has a human being’s interface, the mouse pad on this thing is ridiculous. And six speed automatic? Really? Does it at least have Apple car play?

  32.  Peder Hansen  It depends on circumstance. The turbo fours can be had in most circumstances when the turbo is not spooled by a V6. If zero to sixty is important to you go for turbo four, otherwise, if smooth driving on streets is important, nothing takes place of a naturally aspirated engine (six or eight is my flavor).

  39.  @andyham6094  You may be a Neanderthal. Check yourself in mirror. 4-Runner is absolutely not a good balance. A Jeep Grand Cherokee is a good balance. A 4-Runner is good at one thing, going offroading. But hey, you may not live in a city where things zip left and right by you, see my first sentence again about where you may live.
