Ahhh when we used to have car shows and people could get close to each other. Good old times ☹️
46
I could live with rough ride, but lack of good third row space and that joke of a luggage space behind third row, makes this a no go. What a huge disappointment, what were they thinking? I like the exterior as you said.

It has great presence. Ford did well. GM must be kicking itself with that strange looking thing they call Blazer.
14
Man those wheels are fantastic looking. Gorgeous.
11
Probably best sedan in the world.
9
Enjoy your front wheel drive eco sedan.
8
Feels like they cheapened the Tacoma every way they could and drove prices higher. I pass and get a new Ranger. What do I mean? They get rid of back seats amd the small door. The cheap interior top of windows panels they kept saying will be upgraded for production. The rear sliding window that is option. Soft drop bed door optional. I pass.
7
It is a great looking little vehicle. Ford needs to make more of them, hard to find them.
7
This is the Car that has destroyed the German luxury for ever. Long Live Tesla.
7
We own a 2019 with the six speed and 20,000 miles. It is really a great truck. Reliable, nothing wrong with it. We have the AWD RLT with leather. In silver. We tested the Taco and Frontier. Interior of Ridgeline is so much better. We hate that ours doesn't have regular knobs for radio, which this new version has at least fixed by giving you a volume knob. Apple car play integration is not perfect. The only other issue may be if you do serious off roading this is not the truck for you. But it is so fast and smooth on highways and mostly quiet except when you want that V6 engine to roar.
7
Great review, love the fact you are not sugar coating anything.
7
I take the Camry.
6
I take the Camry and it’s V6 any day over this turbo Honda. I also hate the rubber band tire on this Accord. Horrible.
5
Such a good looking vehicle. There is reason they don’t redesign this, because it is such a big seller for Kia. No gimmick interior and mainstream engine and transmission.
5
I think these new engines are compliance engines. On paper they emit few pollutants even if fuel economy may only be marginally better. People who buy Toyotas don’t care. They want something reliable. Toyota’s reputation will sell these. Looks and performance are really secondary. It sure doesn’t look pretty though in or out.
5
All muscle no fat. That is the vide with this car. Has all the necessities none of the junk you don’t need. Knobs and buttons everywhere which is nice. Big infotainment screen. Plenty of size inside, naturally aspirated engine with good size and normal automatic (no garbage CVT or bad ZF 9 speeds). I get it in green and brown interior. Perfection.
4
Nissan destroyed pathfinder. It was a great looking and functioning truck. Now it’s a mommy mobile. With a CVT. Garbage.
4
It is amazing when GM and Ford stop making sedans, Toyota comes out with such a tour de force. Amazing Camry, probably best sedan non electric in the world.
4
Can’t believe that even badland top trim don’t get leather steering wheel, cheap.
3
Lexus can refresh the interior and it will be great. But I assume they have some hybrid thing coming to replace this. It will be a sad day when this car is retired.
3
I take this over Acura TL type S.
3
I have no problem with gauges. I don't like lack of fog lights. And the push button way to change gears is just stupid. Otherwise a fine vehicle.
3
Great review. I test drove one and decided against buying it. Looks great but do some in town driving and brake hard. Nose dive is the worst of any vehicle including trucks I have experienced. This is a off reading vehicle and nothing better. Even Wrangle rides and drives better in town.
3
I think where Toyota has to be careful, is that really all important reputation for reliability may be jeopardized by these newish turbo engines.
3
I love that they added touch screen. It may have been a last minute decision, otherwise why include that idiotic touch pad? Will any one use it if touching screen is available?
2
I actually don’t like the floating roof like. Still exterior is ok. The black gloss on center is inexcusable, they need to get rid of it.
2
That interior is so old, disappointing.
2
Great refresh and compared to GM SUVs a great buy.
2
This is a major refresh. I think this body still will be around at least two years, may be three. I dig what Honda did here. I really like that trim with gold wheels.
2
Synthetic leather, is all you need to know. Vinyl garbage. Otherwise looks good like Optima did except for fake exhaust outside, and lack of radio tuning knob. Gimmicky like most Koreans. Lots of sizzle no meat. Get a Accord or Camry if you want something that is proven.
2
Beautiful
2
These are last generations of iCE vehicles, they won’t come down much in price.
2
I rather have the Corolla Cross. Pass on this till Honda’s next gen of same vehicle.
2
Lol make you feel like a man. Live it. Keep doing your thing sir. I think I prefer my Bronco if I could afford it in base form in that green color. I mean Bronco base is extrovert. This Raptor trim is way too much for me.
2
First review of a non top end. I actually like the 17 inch wheels and cloth seats.
2
Man that blue model S is gorgeous
2
Great looking inside and out. All meat and no fat. The three cylinder engine in most trims is a fail though. I still take a lower trim RAV-4 and feel like it will go 300,000 miles, but the four cylinder turbo of this is very compelling for someone that likes looks more than durability
2
What a GREAT review. I am going to consider buying this vehicle. Beautiful color, nice performance, great fuel economy of 45 in city, and Toyota reliability. Wow just wow.
2
It is beautiful inside. My one beef is lack of a traditional shift gear. Hopefully they give us a AT4 version with 6.2 with a bit less chrome for younger than boomer types.
2
No they lost the V6. Camry V6 easy any day.
1
Glad to hear it is quiet. That virtue is such an under rated trait in many vehicles that is so needed on long highway rides.
1
Exhaust even sounds good for a V6.
1
I thought 1794 had a dark brown saddle interior. Whomever came up with white dashboard and seats for a truck should be shot.
1
You are right about it being over-priced. With supply chain issues it’ll sell for now. After those issues are resolved, I wonder what type of discount you get.for my money, this is not better than Telluride.
1
That V8 has horrible fuel economy. The reason Toyota may capture more market share now is for better fuel economy.
1
Too little too late. Tesla model 3 base after tax breaks is cheaper, both starting price and ongoing.
1
Why doesn’t Kia make plush seats. I don’t get it. I take Pilot over this just because of the seats.
1
I a, afraid in your zero to sixty test the CVT still drones.
1
I doubt you want the door and roof off in that weather you live in though. So wind noise being loud matters and Ford needs to do better on that front.
1
I think those seats are real leather, no?
