  1. I think no one will be mad at you for recommending a Highlander. That engine and drivetrain will last for ever. Still, a huge part of getting a SUV is having a soft ride so not good to hear too many crashes come through. Is it class of the field? I take a Telluride or new Jeep Grand Cherokee L over this because ride and looks. Highlander is fine inside but that exterior is not my cup of tea with big grill and fender flares and all those body lines.
