  1. Your comment about seating position is right on. I sat in these and neither me nor my wife who we were buying a midsize truck for could get comfortable. My head was touching the roof at almost six one and she was struggling with her legs extended at 5 4. We ended up with a higher trim Ridgeline with a so much more refined interior, better engine and six speed and ride. May be Tacos are more reliable and no doubt resale value is amazing. Still try one and live with seating position compromises which are done because of raised floor for off-roading. Off-road they destroy Ridgeline but on road Ridgeline ride is better. Side note: I don’t think 4-runner and Tacoma share same V6 and transmissions are different too.
