  1. These BMW straight six engines may be in running for best engines in the world amd transmission is smooth, almost makes me wonder why we need a real M trim. Still, as competent as this is, if I were in the market I go for base X5 and a little more size. Great review of a fine compact SUV, would this be your go to purchase if price was not a factor in this segment?
