  1. I've learned working during more than 15 years in an architecture office there's a price for success. The question is: are you ready to pay the price ? Lying. My boss got past his final exam through his friend project presentation. He lied so much he even lied when it wasn't necessarily. The junior Architect told us a guy got his job because he lied during the interview about knowing a designer program and after a couple of years he was still working there. I was shocked with the way he was talking about this guy as an example. Example of what ? He's Catholic. That man lied. So that's one lesson I can never put into practice because I can't lie. Use the company resources. My co-workers used company resources all the time to do their university projects. The Catholic Architect I worked with was using company time all the time for his side projects (phone calls etc.). To the outside world my co-workers were successful students that worked 9-5. The Architect was a successful professional and entrepreneur who was a father of several kids. I'm against stealing so that's another thing I can't do. Date multiple women. My boss married 4 times. His 3rd wife was the sister of his son in law. She was around the same age as his daughter. He divorced her after 7 years (irc) because he wasn't in love with her anymore. He was also in a friend's with beneficts relationship with his female associate. She was a married engineer with 1 kid. I can't do this as I believe in no sex before marriage. Moral of the story: you can either be religious or successful.
