  2. 12:01 Sadly, what this woman is saying is true. I was speaking to a female work colleague today. I was explaining to her that more than a decade ago, I was earning 714 euros, while my co-worker was earning 1250 euros as an architecture designer. I told him I wish I had his salary, but he then proceeded to explain to me that earning more is meaningless since the more you earn, the more you spend. He was right. I'm earning more than he did back then, in the UK 🇬🇧 and it still feels like the same. Before I lived with my mother so I didn't have housing expenses as I have now and I have to buy food while before I had home cooked meals. She agreed with me. I then explained the case of my female cousin. She had a degree in journalism and was married to a successful photographer. They were always travelling and eating outside. She didn't want to do anything on the house. Eventually, the husband got fed up with her laziness and divorced her. They had nothing by the end of the marriage. She even had to pay some of his debts. The female work colleague then proceeded to tell me the story of the sister of her husband. She was married to an engineer. She worked enough time, so she could then stay on unemployment benefits. That's all she did. She also never did anything around the house. Her husband loved her so much that he even took extra shifts so she could stay at home. She spent so much money that they had their credit cards maxed out. Despite struggling to feed their 2 kids, she showed once the 100 euros boots she had bought. She also insisted on buying a new car, and eventually, the husband caved in. More expenses with loans related to car payments. Even so, with all what her husband was doing for her, she filled for divorce 🤦‍♂️ even though my female work colleague told her she wouldn't find a husband like the one she had. I had to ask my female work colleague, again, who asked for divorce because I couldn't believe what I had just heard 🤦‍♂️ Eventually, she remarried with an Indian guy who was probably interested in Portuguese nationality. Now she was the one complaining he did nothing around the house. They travelled to India to meet his family and divorced a couple of months after. Now she has to work, her mother isn't helping her with anything as she got fed up with working in the UK and sending money for her. My female work colleague eventually agreed to leave some groceries at her house. 41 years old, divorced twice 🤦‍♂️ Her husband, meanwhile, remarried and is happy with his new wife. The perfect embodiment of: 12:29 Women leave happy relationships because they are bored.🤦‍♂️
