  2. My mother divorce my father, when she was 48 years old. She waited until my younger sister was 18 years old, so she didn't share custody with my father. For context, my father wasn't faithful and my mother married at 18 years old virgin. She never wanted to have anything to do with men again. Me and my younger sister told her, we were fine, if she met someone she liked. But she never wanted to. She always prioritised us. Some people are just born to be parents, like my mother. Today at 67 years old, she enjoys the company of my younger sister and I sent her money to help her out. She's happy to be alone. I'm also happy to live on my own. My aunt, sister of my father, after she divorced her husband (he was drunk and beat her), went dating. The problem was, she did not pay any attention to my 4 cousins. She's currently married to a retired English guy. He's tall, just like her husband. She always liked tall guys. Even though she's retired from the bank, she still cooks, cleans and take care of the house. None of my cousins care about her. She said, she wish her children were as caring as the ones my mother has. Actions have consequences. The 1st female cousin, is single at 50+ years old. She dated a lot, when she was younger and loved partying all the time. The 4th female cousin, was married, but is now divorced. Her husband got tired of her laziness. She worked, but never did anything around the house. They always had to eat outside. They were constantly travelling during holidays and had nothing, except debt when they divorced. The 2nd male cousin, was the only one that married. He married his University sweetheart and they have 2 sons. The 3rd male cousin is the more successful one. He's a bank manager and has no desire to marry.
