  1. I was at a Chinese community gathering more than a decade ago. My mother pointed out 2 elderly women.They were twins, sisters. My mother proceeded to tell me when those Twin sisters were younger and beautiful. No man was good enough for them. So they were now old and single.

  2. I am looking at the generation in my family after my parents. We are in total 4 males and 9 females. From the 4 males, 2 are married, and 2 are single. From the 9 females: 2 are married, 5 are single, and 2 are divorced. So 50% of males are married in my family, while only 22% of females are married. Modern society has the audacity to tell its men problems 🙄 it's not the women who are too picky. No, no, no 🙂‍↔️ Edit: we are living in Portugal 🇵🇹
