@wanderingson well your right in that the Uk and France aren’t the massive empires they were. But the style of expansion is the same.

@PedroPiquero tbh, I wonder if China is a more reliable partner right now. If you look at the way they project soft power it’s far more mutually beneficial. That said, it’s also a terrible regime…

@BarelloSmith it was a group effort, the western front made troops and material be deployed in greater numbers to the west, hell the partizans of all occupied countries tied up tens of thousands of troops too (oddly people always forget this contribution). Also, the key contribution of the west was to limit land taken from allies by the Russians. Stalin wanted all he could take.
