I don’t agree with everything Phil says, but he is definitely a sharp commentator, and a great presenter. Always worth a watch.

@jamesmccaul2945 sometimes I think his bias towards Labour gets a little bit much and he loses his objectivity. It’s a pretty rare phenomenon. Last time was during in the speakers letting Labour hijack the SNP opposition day. I have to say, he seemed to molify his opinion a bit after a few days though.

@vaazig it’s politics, like Labour don’t set traps, that’s just hypocrisy? They literally brought down Johnson with these style “traps”. Hoyle didn’t act with an appropriate degree of independence in the role. Hoyle admitted this after the fact. Why is this so hard to understand? Also, I think, the trap was one of Labours own making and from an SNP perspective, it was a positive side effect of the SNP position rather than the primary motive. There was long period of time Labour would have taken the same position (and no, I’m not just referring to Corbyns time). There was a bigger issue at stake about the impartial conduct of the speaker which was a constitutional issue. And before you say, Gaza is more important, no it’s not. Because a failure like this in our system could affect any and all future significant and contentious parliamentary debates and motions about other events of equal gravity the current alleged genocide.
