  1. The obvious choice would be Torsten Bell, as he is a respected economist. Unfortunately he’s also a neoliberal and was one of the brains behind quantitative easing / tightening when he worked for Darling.

  3.  @christophernunn943  you realise most measures of the economy are pretty meaningless. GDP is a terrible tool as it really only reflects how the wealthiest are doing.
