@scottyfive4319 I understand completely. You had a vote. The electorate were utterly incapable of making an informed decision based on the dearth of information and misinformation. It happened in the Brexit one too. Welcome to the heady world of referendum. I personally believe independence for Scotland should be in the gift of the Scottish Parliament as we live in a representative democracy, not a direct one.

@britnatzaredemocracydenier5922 all votes are won with lies, I’ve seen many GE and referenda. Not one was won on the quality of the argument. Scottish independence won’t be won on the quality of the argument. Most people vote with guts or feelings.

@scottyfive4319 I’d love this but I don’t see it being workable I’m afraid. Who would be the arbiter of the decision? How would you classify the severity of the lies? What would even be defined as lies? The union side gave hypothetically situation in the referendum. They weren’t lies, but guesses on the potential impact. Some were clearly over exaggerated, some fairly plausible.

@whssy minor correction, but an alpha isn’t usually considered a full release version like 1.0, more like a 0.0.1 dependent on the numbering convention employed.
