  2. This is the best comment here as it goes to the heart of the issue. The drive for “shareholder return” rather than a fair deal for owners and employers is the main problem. The stock market are a bunch of greedy vultures.

  3. In the 1930’s and 1950s to 80s there were massive public house building programmes. So I think you are wrong. There is a lack of Will in government on both sides of the house, but the Tories are currently in power.
