  1.  @brianferguson7840  the police and crime commissioner of every service has a level of influence to set policing policies, except for the met where the mayor and LA have a say. The ultimate boss is the Home Secretary. There’s a ton of political meddling in the police and always has been, it is mainly done however only by successive Conservative Governments.
