@ianoliver3130 he had the right ideas, though I still think he piled too much into one manifesto, but was singularly unfit to carry popular opinion to implement them. You can blame the media all you want, but he was never going to convince opponents without them. To ignore this and splutter it’s unfair is just naive and childish. A more presentable candidate to front these policies would have helped a lot.

@antispindr8613 no, but you also have to be a creditable leader. A back bencher with no cabinet or equivalent industry experience is enough to deter most people. Especially when the media is Demonising him and the Brexit boredom has set in. I voted for Corbyn as the least worst option, but honestly I would have preferred a better more inspired candidate.

@steveosborne2297 I agree. Though I do think Brexit poisoned the well so much it was inevitable the Tories would get in irrespective of the Labour leader. Not having a proper collation of non Tory parties was a massive mistake from the Libs, but I can see why they didn’t want Corbyn.
