  1.  @Headwind-1 he wasn’t elected as PM in a general election. We elect MPs, then the major party, or coalition parties, appoint the PM.

  5.  @timsmith2279  you do when you appoint sex pests to senior whips jobs and it turns out you knew before hand. It was turning off the Blue Wall. Also, Boris didn’t have a massively good personal approval rating at any point in his premiership, just better than Corbyn. It became a problem when Starmer started looking a little competent to swing voters.

  6. Boris lied to parliament then tried to threaten the investigators. I’m sure piers is guilty of a bunch of things, but he hasn’t been found to have done that.

  7.  @CathieStead  it means Piers never lied to parliament, which is what Johnson was investigated for. Johnson wasn’t investigated by this committee for the parties the police had already done that.
